In Memory of Rita where every product begins with a promise.
Every great business begins with a person. Ours begins with a mother, her name, and a promise to build something honest.
In 2008, in memory of his mother Rita, our founder established Rita Industries in Kathmandu with a handful of knitting machines and a small, dedicated team. There were no shortcuts — only hard work, honesty, and an unshakable belief in the power of trust.
We treated every order — however small — as a promise. Trust is never declared; it is earned one shipment at a time. As our quality spoke for itself, clients returned and brought their partners with them. Word travelled from Kathmandu to the fashion houses of Europe and across the Atlantic to the United States.
Today, Rita Industries is recognised as one of Nepal's leading exporters of Pashmina, carpets, and felt. Our motive remains exactly what it was on day one: maintain quality, deliver promptly, and keep the trust that built us. Many of the clients we work with today have been with us since the very beginning.

Rita Industries was founded with a simple vision: to connect Nepal's rich textile heritage with global markets through quality, trust, and craftsmanship. Rooted in the traditions of Pashmina weaving and carpet making, we have grown into a reliable white-label manufacturing partner for international brands, importers, designers, and hospitality groups. What began as a small workshop has evolved into a structured production network of over 100 skilled artisans—while still preserving the authenticity and care of handmade production.
Over the years, we have refined our processes to meet the expectations of global buyers while staying true to the essence of traditional craftsmanship. From sourcing fine Pashmina fibre in the Himalayan region to the meticulous handwork involved in weaving and finishing, every stage of our production reflects precision, consistency, and attention to detail.
